Commercial off-grid solar for farms, businesses and remote sites

Stand-alone power systems that run a whole site on their own. Single or three-phase, sized for a Ballarat July.

Choose by site

Commercial off-grid systems by type of site

Compare the kinds of systems we build for farms, businesses, groups and remote sites. Every one is sized for a Ballarat July.

  • 3 or more homes or businesses.

Shared power for regional communities and business groups.

  • Pumps, workshops, sheds and cool rooms.

    Three-phase systems for working properties.

Kits from $116,800 installed, after STCs.

  • When the roof cannot carry it.

Big arrays on frames, aimed north and tilted for winter.

  • Delivered closed, opened on site.

A complete system in a 20 ft container for sites that move.

We also build custom plant rooms for big battery banks, and off-grid EV charging. Tell us what your site needs.

Who we serve

Who we build commercial off-grid systems for

If your site needs reliable power and the grid can't give it, we can help.

  • Farms and agriculture

Pumps, sheds, cool rooms and workshops on working properties.

  • Regional businesses

Shops, workshops and depots that can't afford outages.

  • Community groups

Neighbours, small estates and eco-villages sharing one microgrid.

  • Multi-building sites

Several buildings on one property, from wineries to retreats.

  • Remote sites

Monitoring towers, telco gear and camps far from the grid.

  • Temporary sites

Construction, events and seasonal work. Power that moves with you.

How we size

An off-grid system sized for a Ballarat July

Four design rules guide every off-grid installation. The goal is enough power to keep the site running without routine generator use.

GREY DAYSDAY 1DAY 2DAY 3DAY 4DAY 5DAY 6DAY 7SUN100%50%GENERATOR BACKUPLOW 23%BATTERYGREY DAYSD1D2D3D4D5D6D7SUN100%50%GENERATOR BACKUPLOW 23%
Example only. A grey run in July: the battery carries the site, then refills when the sun comes back.
  • Full load

We list everything the site runs and when. Then we check motors, pumps, cool rooms and other large loads.

  • Winter solar generation

We size the solar array around July conditions. It needs to run your appliances and charge the batteries when daylight is limited.

  • Two days of battery storage

We aim for two days of storage at your planned daily use. Usable battery capacity and system losses matter here.

  • Redundancy

We design a second path where practical. What keeps running after a fault depends on the failed part and the capacity still available.

Questions

Questions about commercial off-grid systems

Yes. We build single and three-phase systems on Sigenergy and Deye.

We check your motors, pumps and start-up loads first.

We start with what runs, when, and for how long. Then we check the system against a Ballarat July.

Our minimum is 2 days of battery storage from full.

Yes, or at least some backup power source. Our design goal is to avoid routine generator use. Extended grey weather, unusually high consumption or repairs make backup power useful.

We discuss those limits when designing your power supply. Learn what generator-less off-grid design means.

Yes, if your system has capacity for expansion. Extra panels depend on inverter limits. Extra batteries must be compatible.

Learn more about balancing solar and battery expansion. Tell us your plans before installation so we can leave room to grow.

Yes. We install across regional Victoria. Further away, we may still be able to help with design and kit supply.

A stand-alone power system runs one site on its own. A microgrid links several homes or buildings so they share one power system.

A microgrid can run fully off-grid, or alongside a grid connection.

What helps us size your system

    • What the site is: farm, business, camp or group
    • Big loads: three-phase motors, pumps, cool rooms or EV charging
    • Where the site is
    • Any outages or grid issues now
