100up's 10kW ground-mounted off-grid solar. Designed for farms, acreages and off grid properties. This 10kW ground mounted solar system delivers serious power generation when roof space, orientation or building limitations make traditional installations less suitable. 22x 475W panels and an IP65 Sigenergy inverter-battery unit that mounts behind the array. Frames sit on ground screws or concrete blocks. Ground Mounts adds roughly ~8k vs a roof install.

Our preferred inverter-battery system is Sigenergy, which is IP65 rated and compact, allowing for installation directly behind the solar panel array

Ground Mount Kits

One of the most popular starting points for a ground-mounted off-grid system.

Twenty-two panels. 475W each.

Recommended Sigenergy inverter and battery can mount directly behind the array. IP65 rated, built for outdoor installation. Certified aluminium frames go in on ground screws. Concrete blocks if the ground won’t take a 1.5m screw.

That’s the basic configuration. Your site and energy needs decides the rest.

When your roof isn’t the right place for your panels

Some roofs face the wrong way. Some have too much shade. Some just don’t have the space. A ground mount fixes that. You choose the spot. You choose the direction. The array goes where it gets the most sun.

It costs more. Usually $6,000–$8,000 extra compared to a roof install. But a badly placed roof array loses production every single day. On a system you’re relying on completely, that adds up fast.

A 10kW array is a reasonable starting point for a smaller off-grid property.  Typically 1–2 people with modest daily demand. But the right system size comes from your actual site, occupancy, and how you use power. Ground mounting is available for any system size we design.

If your roof isn’t suitable due to orientation, shading or space a ground mount solves that.
