The Future of Solar and Battery Systems: A Survival Race

Solar and battery systems have progressed to a new level, and it looks like many well-known inverter makers currently popular in Australia could be gone in the next 3-5 years. Separate inverters will no longer exist, as everything will be combined into one big unit, like a Lego assembly, that includes the battery, inverter, and car charger. Intersolar has shown that the biggest players are moving towards combined systems. Battery maker Pylontech showcased a Lego-type system with their own inverter, and others like Deye, Alfa ESS, Sigenergy, Fox ESS, and even the major brand Haier, known for TVs and appliances, presented similar systems. The industry is headed for a survival race, much like the one we saw 10 years ago when Chinese solar panel manufacturers wiped out many global competitors. I am seriously questioning the survival of any brand that does not manufacture batteries.
