Off grid Solar Power Systems in New South Wales

Off grid Solar Power Systems in New South Wales

Our recent work in New South Wales involved transforming a site powered by an outdated off-grid solar setup, installed 10 to 15 years ago with a Selectronic inverter, into a modern Sigenergy system. It’s astonishing how much progress we’ve made in recent years with solar technology. The old systems, which are still widely installed, were incredibly inefficient and time-consuming to set up, with a staggering number of components like inverters, solar controllers, battery chargers for generators, and large cables, all contributing to enormous costs.

Usually, these older systems were built with a small number of solar panels and relied heavily on generators for power supply. The new system is a completely different story. We installed 12kW of solar panels on a 6kW inverter, which guarantees daily power provision with minimal or no reliance on the generator. This modern setup ensures a more efficient and reliable energy solution.

As shown in the picture above, you can see both the old system and the new system. Please note that there is no judgment here; the new system was installed temporarily as an urgent power supply solution. The final system will be three times larger, providing even greater efficiency and capacity.
